Which electric models are growing fastest in Switzerland — and which are losing?

The strongest gain is the BYD Seal U DM-i: from 113 to 1’331 new registrations, +1078 per cent. The steepest loss is the Mercedes-Benz EQE, from 220 to 61, -72,3 per cent. Only the 136 models with at least 50 registrations in both periods are compared.

From 2 to 6 vehicles is +200 per cent, and that says nothing — hence the floor of 50.

How this is calculated

The current period is compared with the same period of the previous year, model by model. The change is the current period's registrations divided by the previous year's, minus one. Only models with at least 50 registrations in BOTH periods are included — otherwise this page would show jumps produced by two vehicles. It says nothing about the cause of a change: a model changeover, a delivery pause and falling demand look identical in registration figures.
