From 13 countries of origin, and one leads clearly: Germany, with 19’521 new registrations with a plug — 34,9 per cent of all 55’986. Behind it China with 7’396 and Sweden (Geely) with 5’126. The top three together account for 57,2 per cent.

How origin is assigned
The classification follows the group a brand belongs to, not the production site. Brands of the Geely group under European management — Volvo, Polestar, Smart, Lotus — are marked separately, so the choice stays transparent instead of quietly falling into the China total. Both readings can be checked in the filter of the model radar.
How this is calculated
Every model carries the origin of its brand; the new registrations of all models from the same country are added up. The share is the country total divided by all 55’986 new registrations with a plug in the same period. Countries without registrations in the previous year carry no change — a rise from zero is not a figure. The table has 16 rows for 13 countries: the Geely brands form their own group beside their home country, and 16 vehicles carry no documented origin.
