The Geely group is behind Volvo, Polestar, Zeekr and Lynk & Co and holds a stake in smart. Under its own name it has been selling two electric cars and two plug-in hybrids in Switzerland since September 2026, among them the E2, one of the cheapest electric cars in the country.
What is known
Importer: GZ Automobile AG, Härkingen (imprint of geelyauto.ch), a company of the Emil Frey group.
Market launch: Launch event on 16.09.2026 in Zurich (vybe.ch). Two Chinese trade portals give 21.09.2026.
Dealer network: 10 businesses in the dealer search, among them Emil Frey in Baden and Ebikon. The trade press names 12 locations.
