Denza in Switzerland: models and prices

Denza is BYD’s premium brand and has been in Switzerland since the end of August 2026. On offer are the Z9GT shooting brake, electric and as a plug-in hybrid, and the D9 van; the BAO 5 off-roader and the Z sports car are due to follow at the end of 2026.
What is known
Importer: Not named on the website. The press refers to BYD Switzerland as the distributor.
Market launch: Launched on 26.08.2026 in Zurich, the models have been orderable since then (20 Minuten). Orders for the plug-in hybrids already opened at the end of April 2026 (moneycab).
Dealer network: 6 locations on the dealer page: Biel, Petit-Lancy, Chur, St. Gallen, Yverdon-les-Bains and Schlieren. Target according to the press: at least 18 by the end of 2027.
We do not yet show registration figures for Denza: a separate analysis starts at two models or 50 registrations. What is shown here is the range according to the importer and the trade press.

The kilowatt-hours and range of the Z9GT EV come from a German figure (electrive, 09.04.2026); the Swiss website gives neither prices nor battery sizes. The advertised charging at up to 1500 kW applies to the Chinese connector, not to Swiss charging stations. BAO 5 and Z Coupé: prices according to finews.ch, launch at the end of 2026.
